Germany plans to start deporting underage migrants to Morocco
Since opening its doors in 2015, no unaccompanied minors have been deported from Germany. That is soon set to change, as Berlin has started building centers in Morocco to house deported minors, according to a report.
France: Skiers left hanging after gondola breakdown in French Alps
More than 100 skiers have been rescued after a gondola lift system broke down at the Chamrousse resort in the French Alps. Two helicopters were used to secure the stranded skiers and slower them to safety.
Switzerland's President Doris Leuthard calls for referendum on EU relationship
The call comes after a recent decision by Brussels on Swiss stock exchange access to the EU infuriated Swiss leaders. President Doris Leuthard said a vote would help clarify the country's relationship with the EU.

Turkey axes another 2,700 public workers in post-coup crackdown
The cuts are the latest in a series of ongoing purges the government has initiated since a failed coup attempt in 2016. The government has already jailed 55,000 people and sacked more than 140,000 public workers.
