Highlights - In camera exchange of views in TERR Committee meeting - Special Committee on Terrorism 01-12-2017 11:16 AM CET On Wednesday, 22 November 2017, in line with the mandate of the Special Committee on Terrorism, Members held an in camera exchange of views with Mr Saad Amrani (the Belgian Federal Police) and with Mr Gerhard Conrad (EU INTCEN). At their meeting, TERR Members hosted the Chief Commissioner and Policy Adviser of the Belgian Federal Police Mr Saad Amrani and discussed: Local human intelligence: holistic approach at local level - how to reduce blind spots in the fight against terrorism. During the second part of the meeting Mr Gerhard Conrad, Director of the EU Intelligence and Situation Centre (EU INTCEN) was invited to hold an exchange of views on: The terrorist threat to Europe and the role of INTCEN in providing intelligence-based strategic situational awareness to EU institutions and Member States.
