Various experts are invited to give their presentations and answer any questions from the members of the Fisheries Committee. Anchovies and sardines account for most catches which are mainly split between Italy and Croatia, since Slovenia, the third EU country facing the Adriatic Sea, accounts for only 1% of catches. Until now small pelagics in the Adriatic have been the scope of various legal frameworks, both at national, EU and international level.
