29-01-2018 08:49 AM CET In 2015, FEMM launched a Working Group (WG) on "Violence against Women" to offer a forum for a regular exchange of views and the formulation of a general strategy in the area. The WG is composed of one member per political group and meets regularly. Its strategic aim is to campaign for the adoption and ratification of the Istanbul Convention by all its Member States (MS) and the EU, via an exchange of views on best practises in the MS and the planning of an annual event or campaign of the EP.
