Bomb squad responds to suspicious package in San Francisco
 
A suspicious package was reported near 23rd Avenue and Geary Boulevard in San Francisco, police said. The package was reported at 8:48 a.m. inside a building in the area, said Officer Giselle Linnane, a spokeswoman for the San Francisco Police Department Police. A bomb squad is reportedly on scene and police are advising the public to avoid the area. Traffic delays in the area are expected. Annie Ma is a San Francisco Chronicle staff writer.
