Highlights - Delegation of Committee on Budgets to travel to Moldova - Committee on Budgets 28-03-2018 10:46 AM CEST A five-member BUDG delegation, chaired by MEP Siegfried Mureşan (EPP), will travel to Moldova from 3 to 6 April 2018, with the aim of learning more about the concrete use of EU financial support, assessing the quality of implementation and effectiveness on the ground, and evaluating Moldova's current and future needs for assistance through the Union budget. Members will hold official meetings with Moldovan Ministers and relevant Moldovan parliamentary committees, and meet local stakeholders to discuss how smart and inclusive growth, judicial reform and the fight against corruption can be promoted even more effectively through the EU budget and the next Multiannual Financial Framework. Upon its return, the delegation will report on its findings to the full committee.
