This activity is intended for infectious disease specialists, family medicine specialists, gastroenterologists, internists, nephrologists, obstetrician-gynecologists, pediatricians, public health officials, nurses, pharmacists, and other clinicians caring for patients with or at risk for HBV infection. - Identify previously issued ACIP recommendations regarding prevention of HBV infection in the United States, including recommendations for HBV vaccination of infants, children, and adolescents
- Describe ACIP/Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations for HBV prophylaxis after occupational and nonoccupational exposures
