Highlights - EMPL delegation to Canada - Committee on Employment and Social Affairs 09-04-2018 11:20 AM CEST From 3 to 6 April EMPL sent a delegation to Ottawa and Toronto. Members met the International Affairs arm of the Canadian Labor Program with a view to discussing issues partaining to the negociation and implementation of international labour cooperation agreements. The visit of the Ontario Ministry of Labour was an opportunity to study new technologies and the "platform economy" and their consequences for employment and social security schemes.
