ESA SME Initiative news: R&D proposal writing course, B2B meetings at ILA 2018, ESA standardization guide for SMEs

SME Initiative News 9 April 2018   Apply now: R&D proposal writing course for SMEs SMEs from all ESA Member States and Cooperating States are invited to participate in a training course on "How to write a good proposal in response to an ESA Invitation to Tender for R&D activities". The course will be held on 6 – 8 June 2018 at ESTEC, The Netherlands. The training will consist of a series of presentations by senior ESA staff from the Agency's Technical Services and from the Procurement Department, followed by a hands-on, 1.5 day, exercise. The course is targeted at participants from both technical as well as commercial backgrounds with no or only limited experience in writing ESA proposals. Applications should be submitted by 20 April 2018 at the latest.     Meet the SME Office at ILA 2018 The SME Office will be present at the Berlin Air Show on 25 – 26 April 2018 to meet interested SMEs during B2B meetings. The handbook describes the ESA Space Standardization System and documents, with special emphasis on the ECSS system. It is released for general guidance purposes only, and is not meant to take any precedence over applicable project requirements, documents and definitions.
