Druhá družice Sentinel-3 se vydala na oběžnou dráhu ve středu 25. dubna: doplnila také své identické dvojče Sentinel-3A. Párování satelitů zlepšuje pokrytí a dodávku dat pro program dálkového průzkumu Země Evropské unie GMES/Copernicus.

Il secondo satellite Sentinel-3, Sentinel-3B del programma europeo Copernicus, è stato lanciato ieri, unendosi al suo gemello in orbita Sentinel-3A. Questo abbinamento di satelliti aumenta la copertura e la fornitura di dati per il programma ambientale Copernicus, della Commissione Europea.

The second Sentinel-3 satellite, Copernicus Sentinel-3B, was launched today, joining its identical twin Sentinel-3A in orbit. This pairing of satellites increases coverage and data delivery for the European Union's Copernicus environment programme.

Der zweite Sentinel‑3-Satellit des Copernicus-Programms, Sentinel‑3B, wurde heute ins All befördert, wo er sich zu seinem baugleichen Zwilling Sentinel‑3A gesellen wird. Mit diesem Satellitenpaar erhöhen sich die Abdeckung und die Datenübermittlung für Copernicus, das Umweltprogramm der Europäischen Union.

Lancé aujourd'hui, le second satellite Sentinelle 3, Copernicus Sentinelle 3B, va retrouver son jumeau, Sentinelle 3A, en orbite. Grâce à cette paire de satellites, le programme européen de surveillance environnementale Copernicus bénéficiera d'une couverture plus étendue et d'un volume de données accru.
