Two German men sentenced for joining Islamist terrorists in Somalia and Syria
German courts have sentenced numerous German nationals for joining foreign Islamist militants in recent years. Abshir A. and Ozkan C. have been found guilty of joining Somalia's al-Shabab and Syria's Junud al-Sham.

Haley: DRC "must hold elections" in 2018
The US Ambassador to the United Nations has ended her first Africa trip in the DRC, saying the troubled country must hold elections by the end of 2018 or else lose international support.
