"Tax cuts are long overdue. It's been more than 30 years since President Ronald Reagan passed the last major tax reform, and since those days, America has fallen behind…. In recent years, Denver alone has lost 5 percent of its middle class," Vice President Pence wrote. Decisive Action on the Opioid Crisis Yesterday at the White House, President Trump declared the nationwide opioid crisis in the United States a public health emergency. President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump spoke on the impact of America's epidemic of drug addiction on children and families, and commended the courageous individuals working to combat the opioid crisis in various ways. In his remarks, the President recalled the tragic loss of his brother Fred, and urged Americans never to begin using addictive substances. "Illegal drug use is not a victimless crime," the President said. "There is nothing admirable, positive, or socially desirable about it… We want the next generation of young Americans to know the blessings of a drug-free life." Developments Ahead for American Aerospace President Trump and his Administration are creating a new program to accelerate the integration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS, also known as drones) into American aerospace. Until now, America's outdated aerospace regulations have driven Americans to establish offshore zones for drone innovation and testing. The pilot program will increase the number and complexity of UAS operations in the United States and pave the way for developing a national aerospace regulatory system.
