BREAKING: Former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort and aide Rick Gates charged with money laundering and conspiracy

The charges are the first to emerge from special counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election, but it is not clear the charges have any connection to Trump or the campaign.
