A previously unknown, internal "void" was recently identified in the Great Pyramid of Giza. The research was published in the peer-reviewed British journal "Nature" on Thursday. The discovery of the void, which is about 100 feet long, was made using cosmic-ray based imaging. While no one knows the role of this void, the study said, it's the first major inner structure found in the Great Pyramid since the 19th century.
