Researchers use a pump-induced disease to define underlying molecular mechanism

A Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center research study investigated a pump-induced disease and defined the molecular mechanism that triggers it. Researchers presented the study of the functional effects of specific mutations of the Na/K pump found in tumors that induce primary aldosteronism (Conn's syndrome).
