Syndromic Surveillance Summary

Week 52, 25 to 31 December 2018 National Syndromic Surveillance Summary: During week 52 there were further increases in influenza-like illness indicators, including GP consultations and emergency department attendances and NHS 111 cold/flu calls. Increases were most notable in adults and are generally above seasonally expected levels. Of note this week: Chart showing daily GP in hours influenza-like illness consultations incidence rate (and 7-day moving average) per 100,000 population (England).
