Week 06, 05 to 11 February 2018 National Syndromic Surveillance Summary: During week 6 GP consultations for influenza-like illness decreased, however respiratory indicators across all syndromic surveillance systems remained above seasonally expected levels. GP consultations for scarlet fever continued to increase during week 6 and are above seasonally expected levels. Of note this week: Chart showing daily GP in-hours scarlet fever consultation incidence rate (and 7-day moving average) all England, based on a denominator population of approximately 5.5 million registered patients. |
