Highlights - Exchange of views on the implementation of the Conflict Minerals Regulation - Committee on International Trade 15-02-2018 05:18 PM CET Committee on International Trade and Committee on Development will jointly take stock of the implementation of the so-called Conflict Minerals Regulation that was adopted a year ago. Its due diligence requirements for Union importers of tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold will apply as of 1 January 2021, but the Commission, Member States and companies have already started with preparatory steps to ensure the effective implementation of the Regulation.
