Engineered cartilage template to heal broken bones

A team of University of Connecticut Health researchers has designed a novel, hybrid hydrogel system to help address some of the challenges in repairing bone in the event of injury. The researchers described their findings in a recent issue of Journal of Biomedical Materials Research-Part B, where the work is featured on the journal cover.
