Bay Area gets a little relief before sweltering heat to returns
 
There will be about a five-degree drop in temperatures throughout the Bay Area on Tuesday from highs on Monday that included 104 degrees in Livermore and 101 degrees in Los Gatos, said Matt Mehle, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
