Highlights - ENVI visit to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) on 18-19 December 2017 - Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety 13-12-2017 03:03 PM CET An ENVI delegation composed of three MEPs will visit EFSA (Parma, Italy) on 18-19 December 2017. During the two-day visit, MEPs will discuss EFSA's strategic perspective, the scientific decision-making process, transparency and specific aspects of EFSA's scientific work with EFSA's Executive Director, Dr. Bernhard Url, and other EFSA representatives. The discussion of EFSA's scientific work will address varied topics such as pesticides (including glyphosate), genetically modified organisms, endocrine disruptors, antimicrobial resistance, bee health and crisis preparedness.
