Highlights - European Medicines Agency (EMA) relocation after Brexit - Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety 12-02-2018 04:25 PM CET On Thursday 22 February the ENVI Committee sends a fact-finding mission to Amsterdam, to which the EMA is to be relocated after Brexit. The delegation will be led by the rapporteur on the relocation, Giovanni La Via (EPP, IT), and will visit the temporary location and the future headquarters for the EMA. MEPs want to obtain up-to-date information on the state of play of the double transfer process and ascertain that it is proceeding "as planned and with no interruption". Their findings will provide input to the discussion on the relocation legislative proposal in ENVI. Source : © European Union, 2018 - EP Latest news - Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety 12-02-2018 04:19 PM CET The next ENVI Committee meeting will be held on Monday 19 (15.00 - 18.30) and Tuesday 20 February 2018 (09.00 - 12.30 and 14.30 - 18.30) in Brussels. As of 1 July 2015 the ENVI Committee decided to fully implement the paperless project for meetings. Therefore, there will be no more paper documents available in the meeting room. All the documents will be available through the "Meeting documents" tab under "Useful documents" on this webpage.
