Summary – the Foreign and Commonwealth (FCO) now advise against all but essential travel within 4km of the Mount Agung crater in east Bali due to ongoing volcanic activity; on 10 February 2018, the Indonesian authorities lowered Mt. Agung's alert status from level 4 (highest) to level 3 (standby). The authorities have indicated Mt. Agung continues to show signs of volcanic activity and the possibility of an eruption remains
