EU Fact Sheets - Southeast Asia - 01-01-2018 20-03-2018 12:00 AM CET The EU is forging closer ties with South Asian countries and promoting regional integration with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). A strong economic player in Southeast Asia, the EU is also an important development and aid donor, working to foster institution-building, democracy, good governance and human rights.
