Highlights - Study on 'The new Silk Route' - Committee on Transport and Tourism 12-03-2018 11:07 AM CET The presentation of the study on 'The new Silk Route - opportunities and challenges for EU transport' commissioned by the Policy Department at the request of the TRAN Committee Members will be held on 20 March 2018 between 11.30 and 12.30. The study analyses in detail the Chinese Silk Route Initiative and investigates its possible impacts and prospects for the EU transport system. The emphasis of the research is put on exploring the European transport system's readiness for the Initiative and on identification of potential bottlenecks and missing links.
