Hearings - "Encounters" between science and management in Fisheries - 21-03-2018 - Committee on Fisheries 12-03-2018 04:34 PM CET On 21 March 2018, PECH Committee is organising a public hearing entitled ""Encounters" between science and management in fisheries". Centred on the fixation of Total Allowable Catches (TACs) on fish stocks, this event will allow Members to listen and ask questions to some representatives of scientific bodies, of fishermen and of the civil society (NGO). These invited experts are to present their contribution to, or their point of view on, the regular TACs setting process, from the requests for scientific advice to the final Council decisions.
