Breaking: More than 600 copycat threats targeted schools in the two weeks after the Parkland, Fla., school shooting, according to data reviewed by USA TODAY

  The dramatic rise in threats during that period - from 10 to about 70 a day - was compiled from reports by the USA TODAY Network and the Educator's School Safety Network. It has left school administrators and authorities walking a fine line in dealing with a threat's credibility.
