13-04-2018 02:54 PM CEST Parliament will vote on the new EU-Norway Agreement on additional trade preferences in agricultural products (Rapporteur Tiziana BEGHIN). Under this agreement, the parties mutually grant duty free access to 36 new tariff lines and extend the existing quotas for products such as meat, plants and vegetables. Additional quota that Norway grants for cheese, beef, flowers, live plants and other tariff lines throughout the agreement aims to compensate for Norway's high duties on EU cheese, beef, lamb meat and hortensia which Parliament previously criticised. The vote in plenary will take place on Tuesday, 17 April 2018. Source : © European Union, 2018 - EP
