Protecting one of the largest bighorn sheep herds in the U.S.

DOI Header - Dark Green

Last week, Secretary Zinke proposed an extension on a mineral withdrawal in Wyoming's Whiskey Mountain -- protecting the habitat of one of the nation's largest herds of bighorn sheep for the next 20 years. This measure will ensure that these robust big game populations continue to thrive for generations of hunters and wildlife watchers.

This is just one of the ways Interior is working to conserve the winter habitat and migration corridors of big game animals. Watch this video to learn what this news means to the community of Dubois, Wyoming.
