Breaking: Ty Cobb, Donald Trump’s White House lawyer, to leave amid continuing investigation by Robert Mueller

  White House lawyer Ty Cobb is leaving President Trump's legal team, presidential spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said Wednesday. Cobb informed Trump he plans to retire. He will be replaced on the team by Emmet Flood, a lawyer who worked on President Bill Clinton's impeachment team 20 years ago. Cobb's departure completes the almost total turnover of Trump's defense team during the continuing investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.
