North Atlantic Aerosols and Marine Ecosystems Study (NAAMES) III - 2017

The North Atlantic Aerosols and Marine Ecosystems Study (NAAMES) departed from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute at the end of August, 2017, on a mission to understand how gases and particles present in the ocean get into the atmosphere and influence clouds and climate. This is the third voyage of the NAAMES project. Read more about their 2017 expedition.
