ESA SME Initiative news: Space Tech Expo, Webinar with the Industrial Ombudsman and ECSS Livestream

SME Initiative News 26 September 2017   Meet the SME Office at Space Tech Expo ESA's SME Office will be present at Space Tech Expo in Bremen (Germany) on 24 - 26 October 2017. SMEs visiting the supply-chain and engineering event are invited to meet the team at booth J30 in Hall 5 to discuss doing business with ESA. Exhibition visitors can also schedule dedicated meetings at the stand with members of the SME Office in advance. To register for a 20-minute slot, please send an email to sme-office@esa.int, mentioning your name, company, ESA bidder code and preferred meeting time. To see which meeting slots are still available, please visit this website.     Webinar with the ESA Ombudsman On 11 October 2017 at 10:30 CEST, the SME Office is organising a Webinar with Jack Bosma, the ESA Industrial Ombudsman. During this 1.5 hour web-based interaction, the Ombudsman will inform the community about his role and competences and will share important lessons learned with SMEs. Issues discussed will include policies affecting the work of SMEs as well as some tips and recommendations regarding topics such as time-to-payment, a neutral cash flow, the prime operated indirect payment scheme and intellectual property rights, among others. Companies will also have the chance to ask questions. To register for the Webinar, please send an email to sme-office@esa.int, mentioning your name, company and ESA bidder code. You will receive log-in details after a successful registration.   ECSS Training Livestream (Space Engineering) SMEs are invited to follow the next edition of the ECSS Livestream.
