18-01-2018 09:51 AM CET On 23 January, the ITRE Committee will welcome four Bulgarian Ministers who will present the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency for the coming six months in the Committee's policy areas. Mr Krasimir Valchev, Minister of Education and Science, will present the Presidency priorities for research and innovation; Mr Ivaylo Moskovski, Minister of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications will focus on the telecoms and digital agenda; Ms Temenuzhka Petkova, Bulgarian Minister of Energy will cover the priorities for energy, nuclear issues and Mr Emil Karanikolov, Minister of Economy, will outline the priorities of the Presidency in the fields of industry, SMEs and space. Source : © European Union, 2018 - EP 18-01-2018 09:51 AM CET On 23 January, as part of the Structured Dialogues, an exchange of views will take place with Mr Moedas, Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, on the main conclusions of the Horizon 2020 midterm evaluation in view of the Framework Programme 9 proposal, and with Ms Gabriel, Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, on the legislative proposal "Cybersecurity Act" that updates the mandate of the European agency ENISA and introduces a certification scheme for cybersecurity.
