Highlights - Scrutiny of delegated acts and implementing measures - 25.01.2018 - Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs 18-01-2018 08:24 AM CET On 25 January 2018, ECON Members will discuss with the Commission and ESMA the equivalence decisions under the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II - 2014/65/EU) and Regulation (MiFIR - 600/2014/EU). The monthly scrutiny session will focus on the equivalence assessment process as well as recent equivalence decisions adopted by the Commission. A small part of the scrutiny session will cover the Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) on Strong Customer Authentication and Secure Communication (SCA) as adopted by the European Commission on 27 November 2017 under Article 98 of the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2) 2015/2366.
