Briefing - Public hearing with Danièle Nouy, Chair of the Supervisory Board, presenting the SSM Annual Report 2017 - PE 614.943 - Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs 22-03-2018 12:00 AM CET This note is prepared in view of a regular public hearing with the Chair of the Supervisory Board of the European Central Bank (ECB) who will inter alia present the SSM Annual Report 2017. The EP received a copy of that report on a confidential basis, under embargo until Monday, 26 March 2018, at 15:00 CET. In view of that restriction, this briefing does not refer to that Annual Report in any way. The following issues are addressed in this briefing: the self-liquidation of directly supervised ABLV, the ECB Addendum on NPLs, the latest release of the ECB's Supervisory Banking Statistics, and external briefing papers provided for the ECON Committee which analyse the 2017 SREP results.
